Why Daniel Matters
Daniel is essential because his visions provide a prophetic framework that later Scriptures build upon. Jesus referred to Daniel the prophet when teaching about future events, and Revelation echoes many of Daniel's symbols, kingdoms, and themes.
To understand much of biblical prophecy, we must begin with Daniel. His visions reveal that the kingdoms of this world rise and fall, but God's Kingdom is eternal, unshakable, and given to the Son of Man.
