When the apostle Paul wrote about the Armour of God,
Roman soldiers were a familiar sight throughout the
ancient world. Their equipment represented preparation,
protection, discipline, authority, and readiness for battle.
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Paul used that
familiar image to reveal an invisible spiritual reality.
Believers are not left defenceless. God has provided
everything required to stand firm against deception,
accusation, fear, temptation, and spiritual opposition.
The Hall of Victory presents each piece of the armour as
a treasured provision from the King. The victory does not
come from human strength. It comes from standing in the
Lord and in the power of His might.
